About the Event
Chase the Sun is a truly unique cycling experience, challenging riders to cover 205 miles from sunrise to sunset on the longest day of the year. Starting at the Isle of Sheppey, riders will journey through stunning countryside, rolling hills, and picturesque villages before finishing at Weston-super-Mare as the sun dips below the horizon.
This isn’t just a ride, it’s an adventure that tests endurance, teamwork, and determination, with the added reward of breathtaking scenery and an unparalleled sense of achievement.

🌇 Finish Location: Weston-super-Mare (Sunset: 9:33 PM)

🗺️ Route: A combination of quiet country roads, challenging climbs, and sweeping descents
Logistics
We’ve got all your logistics covered to make your experience as smooth as possible:
Pickup Point:
•🚐 The van will depart from Sainsbury’s, Sydenham (SE26 4PU) at 1:00 AM to ensure timely arrival at the start point.
Relay Stops:
•Riders participating in the relay (Groups of 2 or 4) will switch at 6 designated stops along the route. These stops will allow riders to refuel, rest, and rotate seamlessly.
Support Vehicle:
•A dedicated support van will follow the group, carrying snacks, water, and first-aid supplies. It will also provide mechanical assistance and transport for resting riders.
Return Journey:
•Once the ride is complete, the van will transport riders and their bikes back to London, ensuring a hassle-free end to your adventure.
Choose Your Challenge
With options for all levels, you can ride your way:
•Relay (Group of 4): Share the journey with 3 teammates, riding 102 miles each.
•Relay (Group of 2): Team up with a partner, taking on 102 miles each.
•Solo Rider: Take on the ultimate challenge and conquer the full 205 miles solo!

For just £220 per person, your package includes:

•20% Deposit: Reserve your spot with just £44.00.
•Two Installments:
•Installment 1: £88.00 (due by March 2025)
•Installment 2: £88.00 (due by May 2025)
•Deadline: Full payment must be completed by May 2025.
